Sustainable Cascadia (5/06 – Present) Deliverable: Co-founded Sustainable Cascadia (www.sustainablecascadia.org), a west coast bioregional initiative to achieve sustainability in one generation.

Imagine Cascadia (10/05-Present) Deliverable: Prepared the design with the Host Team and helped faciltiate Imagine Cascadia II, the second event in a series to spark a 100 year bioregional vision, sponsored by Seattle Biotech Legacy Foundation.
Putting the Sustainability Puzzle Together (3/05-6/05) Deliverable: Designed and facilitated a collaborative event and website resource to identify opportunities and build networks of cross-sector cooperation for local sustainability practitioners/ organizations.
Cooperation Studies Community of Practice (1/05 – Present) Deliverable: Collaborated with the Interra Project to design and facilitate a learning community for the course Toward a Literacy of Cooperation out of Stanford University.
Strategic Visioning/Planning
VIOA Strategic Visioning Process (11/03- 5/07) Deliverables: Designed and facilitated a 2 day retreat with board, new management company and senior staff to describe a 5 year vision and bold steps. Supported the ongoing assimilation of the new General Manager. Seattle Goodwill Board Development (10/03-2/04) Deliverable: Designed and facilitated a 2 day board retreat to assimilate newly hired CEO, clarify board role, and collaborate with senior staff on a 5 year vision for the organization.
Leadership Development/Executive Coaching
Executive Coaching/360 Feedback Program (9/00-6/02) Deliverable: Developed a corporate program to offer executive coaching services to senior leaders, including 360 degree feedback assessment.
New Leader Assimilation Program (3/01-6/02) Deliverable: Developed an assimilation process to successfully install new leaders.
Leadership for Change with Imaging Services (3/95-11/95) Deliverable: Designed and facilitated a program to develop a management team to lead change towards self-directed work teams.
Cultural/Organizational Transformation
Whidbey Institute Phoenix Process (5/05-12/05) Deliverable: Prepared and gained approval for recommendations for an organizational transformation plan to sustain the Whidbey Institute through tight financial turn. Led the recruiting effort and hired the new director.
Immunex Culture Story (11/00-2/02) Deliverable: Invented a project to compose a written narrative of the cultural evolution of Immunex based on appreciative inquiry with staff. Published “What’s Made Us Immunex – A Story of Transformation and Evolution” which was given to all staff and will commemorate Immunex in the Museum of History in Science and Industry.
BEST Project (6/95-4/96) Deliverable: Researched and reinvented recognition principles, programs and practices to enhance customer service in an 8000 person healthcare organization.
Culture Integration
Amgen Washington Research – Integration Change Management Plan (7/02-6/03) Deliverable: Assessed cultural similarities/differences between two merging organizations and made recommendations for how to blend cultures effectively. Facilitated a change management plan to enable full integration of former Immunex staff into the Amgen organization.
Amgen Washington Research – Directors Retreats (11/02 and 5/03) Deliverable: Designed and facilitated a leadership retreat that developed team cohesion, accelerated adaptation, and enabled successful retention of staff in an acquired organization.
Team Development/Effectiveness
Cascadia Consulting All Staff Retreat (2/04-3/04) Deliverable: Designed and facilitated a one day retreat to address management/employee policy, relationships and describe a unified vision of the future.
Nuvance Product Strategy Team Development (6/98-10/98) Deliverable: Designed and facilitated an intervention that resolved conflict and enabled production of a critical deliverable for a cross-functional team in impasse.
AAAHC Accreditation of KPDCP (6/96-11/96) Deliverable: Led the preparation and review process to earn an AAAHC accreditation for a dental health maintenance organization.
OP2 Leadership Retreat (10/96) Deliverable: Designed and facilitated a leadership team retreat that developed an effective partnership and team process between two organizations.

Tuolumne County Landfill Siting Study (10/91-2/92) Deliverable: Led public advisory groups to develop and recommend policy on landfill siting selection for Tuolumne County.
